Opening for Postdoctoral Researcher in Krishna Group (6/19/26)
Position Description: The Krishna Sustainable Catalysis Research Group at UW-Madison (https://krishna.che.wisc.edu/) is hiring a postdoctoral researcher to work on our DOE ARPA-E project, “AI-Driven Design of Industrial Fixed Bed Reactor Catalysts for Production of Renewable Fuels and Chemicals from Oxygenated Feedstocks (AI-FIXCAT)”.

The postdoctoral researcher will develop and perform high-throughput automated catalyst synthesis, characterization, and reactivity measurements to accelerate catalyst development for renewable technologies. The researcher will work in a highly interdisciplinary team with leading researchers in experimental catalysis, computational catalysis, AI/ML, and industry. In addition to performing experimental research and analyses to achieve project milestones, the researcher will contribute to project management and written and oral dissemination of the research.
Position Requirements:
-PhD in Chemical Engineering
-Expertise in experimental heterogeneous catalyst synthesis, characterization, and reaction testing. Excellent laboratory, data analysis, project management, and scientific communication skills.
